Frequently asked questions
No. The course is most effective when both partners attend together as they can practice within the relationship and the shared experience is connecting, in itself.
We recognise, however, that sometimes it is not possible for one partner to attend (eg work commitments, unwillingess to attend this type of training). The course is designed to be accessible and welcoming for partners coming on their own.
Some familiarity with NVC is useful, but not essential to follow the course.
The programme is designed to be interactive to get the most out of the shared experience with other couples. This will involve frequent invitations to share experiences, ask questions and name insights. At no point, however,
will you be pressured to participate or to share and you are free to simply listen.
To create a safe and connecting learning space, we do request that you join the live sessions with your camera on.
Sessions will be recorded so missing a session will not be a problem.
The price is a requested amount that makes our work sustainable. We do recognise that people have different income levels and access to resources. If the amount is not affordable for you then please do reach out. We are certain we can find a solution together.
